About meTaxes are a recurring theme throughout my career - and you benefit from every twist.
My “USP” (Unique Selling Point – unmistakable unique selling point) draws on the double-qualification as a tax consultant and lawyer. In fact, these two areas reinforce each other as I tackle issues with both perspectives in mind. Comparatively, if you talk to a tax adviser first and then a lawyer, valuable synergy effects and time is lost.
My background clearly underlines my areas of expertise and my approach towards understanding: I first learned the job of a tax clerk, then acquired the tax law theory through a law degree. I gained a comprehensive insight into the daily operations in small, medium-sized and international tax firms (BIG4) for 20 years. In 2016 I took the step to work in my own tax office. It has always been important to me to look behind the scenes to gain an in-depth understanding, to look at the larger connections from a meta-level perspective which enables me to use the corresponding insights for the benefit of my clients. I combine the necessary tenacity with goal-orientation, empathy and a down-to-earth mindset.
In addition to my double qualification as a tax consultant and lawyer, a consistent and open exchange with colleagues is essential for an effective interdisciplinary approach in advising my clients. In the face of the enormous challenge of an ever-increasing digitization there is a need to permanently overcome stereotypes and obsolete communication channels without overriding the basic economic system. In an effort to do my bit I am involved in professional organizations, networks and associations. My goal is to combine the multitude of experiences and expertise in tax-related topics and to create sustainable added value.
